**************************************************
If you sent in an item last year and it did not make it into that auction
- it is listed below!  I inadvertently left out some items,
so I kept them for this time around - kim

Here is a hint: If you are looking for something in particular, use your search/find feature in your search engine. Just type the name of the item (i.e Fibber) and hit search document. You may have to hit search twice because it depends on where your cursor starts looking. This will / should work on any web page.

Shipping Rates: Please Remember:  A seven dollar ($7.00) charge will automatically be added to the final selling price of each item, (unless it is a Gift Card or Certificate only. Then in that case no postage will be charged) to help cover the over-all cost of postage. Larger items will require additional postage and will be so listed in the description.

Some items will be sent by Media Mail. If your a winner of an item marked to be sent Media Mail and you want it sooner. I can send it 1st Class and charge you the difference. But you have to let me know and have a credit card on file.

Shipping will be first class/Priority unless noted due to the weight. Due to the US Mail postage rates increasing over the past several years, we are forced to raise our shipping and handling rates as well to $7.00 per auction lot item. This is the first rate increase ever since Bill started to do the auction!  When possible, I re-use boxes and padded envelopes, bubble wrap and packing peanuts that we receive at the studio to try and save on the packaging costs. (Please feel free all year to send in your extra packing stuff so I can re-use them.) I also raid the grocery stores for boxes all year to help save on packing/postage costs - kim.

Links have been added to what I could find on the internet.   The items that have links attached are for information purposes only. This does not mean that the item was bought there for the price shown currently.

HOW THE AUCTION WORKS:  Yesterday USA Radio is funded entirely by regular support from some of it's many listeners around the world.  But since every listener does NOT support our efforts, 100% of the proceeds from the annual "Live" YUSA Auction is used to off set our budget deficit.  Therefore, we ask each listener to send in one item; and then to purchase something that someone else has donated.  "Surely every listener can afford at least two items per year, and everybody always has a great time during the "LIVE" Auction", says YUSA Founder Bill Bragg.  Auction proceeds are also used to cover the cost of unexpected emergencies, such as the cost of our streaming by Live365!

Some of the bigger (more expensive) items or rare items will be classified as "All Night Items" (which are listed separately beginning with the letter F.) and will remain on the auction block for extended periods of time.  Once a fair price has been reached, the item will be awarded to the highest bidder.   All Auction items (except the "All Night" items) will be placed into lots of three (3) items each; and then auctioned off individually to the highest bidder.  The three (3) items contained within each Lot will be color coded.  The top (or first) item will be the RED item.  The middle (or second) item will be the White item.  And, the bottom (or third) item will be the Blue item. The order of the items listed below does not specify which is the better to lessor of each  lot.   I pick an item and work around it to put the lots together.

HOW TO BID:  This will be a "live" Auction, and bids will be taken via the telephone or in the Member's Only Chat Room.   For security reasons, we can not open the Chat Room to the general public, so you may want to become a YUSA Supporting Member, so that you can bid in the Chat Room!  We realize that each telephone bid is a long distance call, but our in studio operators can quickly take a bid; with an average cost of less than 10 cents per call.  Call either 972/889-TALK, 972/889-BILL or 972/889-BIRD to place your bids.
Sorry, no pre-bids will be accepted!

Please feel free to report trouble or ask questions during the Auction; using any one of the telephone numbers or the Chat Room.

Please bid in increments of $2.00 or more, unless instructed otherwise by the Auctioneer.  This will help us to keep the auction moving faster.

Please feel free to bid on one, two or all of the items in the current LOT; each time you call in or use the Chat Room!

When bidding on an "All Night Item", please use the associated alphabet letter.  When bidding on the items contained within the "Lots of 3 items each", PLEASE BID BY COLOR; rather than by number, alphabet letter or item description.  Since we will be bidding on only one (1)  lot at a time, there will always be only one Red, one White and one Blue item on the auction block at any one given point in time.  Use the example below when calling in your bid on the telephone.

Example of a person bidding by telephone on the Blue Item of a current Lot:

YUSA:        "YUSA Auction?"

Bidder:        "Put 20 dollars on the Blue, please".

YUSA:        "20 dollars on the Blue,  your name please?".

Bidder:        "This is John Doe calling"

YUSA:         "Thanks for your support Mr. Doe".

CHAT ROOM BIDDING INFORMATION & RULES:

For the benefit of Internet Listeners who may have only 1 phone line, bids will also be taken via the Members Only Chat Room.  For security reasons, the Chat Room will remained closed to the general public.  To bid via the Chat Room, you must be a YUSA Supporting Member Click Here for YUSA Membership Info.

No "nick names" please!  Sign in using your first and last name only by using the "chatroom option" link at the under the chatroom screen. Please choose the Arial font and white lettering. YUSA will be using the yellow writing so you can keep tract of the current bids. Please no un-necessary chatting, please! After  the auction you can go back to the way you had it before.

Example of a person bidding via the Chat Room on the Blue Item of a current Lot:

John Doe:    "20 Blue".

YUSA:          "20 Blue, John Doe"

HOW TO PAY FOR AUCTION PURCHASES:  We will accept cash, check, money orders or your favorite credit card (Visa, MC, Discover, American Express).  All merchandise will be shipped within 48 hours via First Class Mail; as soon as your credit card has been approved for the amount of the purchase or as soon as your payment is received at the YUSA Studios.

ATTENTION CREDIT CARD USERS:  Everyone is encouraged to use credit cards whenever possible, and to submit your card number, expiration date, name, address and phone number in advance.  This will speed up the bidding process, and as a special reward to persons who pre-register their credit card info; your purchases will be shipped the next day after the auction ends (if your charge is approved and unless unforeseen difficulties occur.)

OFFICIAL YUSA 2007 AUCTION LIST

The Minimum Bid for each item will be listed as (MB=$??.??) and this figure comes from what the donor paid for it at the time, what we could find on the internet. In the case of a homemade copy of a radio show(s), we ask about 10 cents a show for a homemade copy and about $1.00 per show for a used professional made copy. On professional made used sets we go below the current asking price if one can be found. Note, these prices may vary. On homemade DVD's of TV shows or movies - we try to ask about 30 cents a show. Also, please don't forget the "$7.00 per lot" shipping cost that will be added to each item (unless otherwise noted).  The minimum bid will be after the condition code.

YUSA does not guarantee any of the items in the auction. I try to be as accurate as possible on the condition and listing of the items. Even though I was as careful as I could be, typo's could exist and we are not responsible for typographical errors - Kim Bragg

Remember the money raised will go to the upkeep of this radio station to help us "keep on keepin' on"! So please bid generously, but don't create a financial hardship for yourself. Thank you!
