Enjoyed your site!
I have been a fan of old radio dramas since I was kid. I'm only 39 now, but growing up in Missouri, we didn't have a television until I was bit older and we used to listen to the radio dramas on Friday and Saturday nights. While I am certain the
nostalgia of these old radio shows hold more dear memories for someone older than myself, I feel I can certainly relate to the excitement and anticipation of listening to these old radio programs. Thank you very much for this priceless service. At the moment I am unable to make a monetary contribution to your effort, but rest assured, once capable, I will donate what I can. Thank you again for bringing joy to my nostalgic heart. If there is anything else I can do to help, please let me know. I just came across your site on the Internet today and have listened for over 2 hours now with a smile on my face. Thank you.
Great job!

Was really disappointed that y'all didn't bring the puppy to the reunion, as I was really looking forward to having a snack. Well, c'est la vie. Glad Texas has such a great BIG TEX and I am glad that we have such a dedicated person (besides Kimmy and Gimpy in Ft. Worthless) running YUSA. BILL, THANK YOU for all you do for YUSA and your listeners. Frankly, I can't imagine how bleak OTR would be without you.

Nice web site, great job!
Looking for a place to hear old time radio
I am a student at the University of Scranton. I am a senior, communications major and taking a Cable Television class. I was assigned to do some research on Yesterday USA. If you could please send me any tapes, pamphlets and such, or any information at all I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much!
What a great site. I am listening to a program about the bill of rights. I would love to purchase this program and have it for reference. If more things like this were available for our "entertainment" this nation would be a lot better off.
I am a great fan of old time radio music and beyond radio...I was so pleased to surf into your site while looking for Old time General Stores online...Sincerely, Wade
well done
Your website is very interesting. Greetings from Germany and all good luck for you in the future.

I am a student at www.ufrgs.br
. I am poor, I don't have access to the internet at home.
I need to download the thing at the university and listen
to it at home. Streamedia do not work for me . I need to download the thing and them listen to it later on.
I am purchasing a low powered freeplay radio and hope to find out if I find your YUSA on it soon! Ann
How wonderful to find such quality music, the boldness to
proclaim the Gospel through music, and the empathy to make
it accessible to people in hospitals and nursing homes.
Thank you for this special time. Paloma
How do I join? This looks great!!!
Hi, I have been here for several times now and thought to sign your guestbook. Very nice! Keep up the good work...
A great station!
interesting site. I'll be back. A lot of memories here.
Your shows bring back fond memories and programs I never knew existed on old-time radio. Keep up the good work!
When I lived in Denver I use to listen to old tome radio at 10:00 PM every night. I miss those nights. I just found this station. I'm on disability and here I'm close to the VA Hospital 15 miles away in Hot Springs, SD. This is GODs Country here in SD. No countless cars and people trying to steal you blind here. Thanks for the memories.
Regards, Travis Glenn
PS I'm having a little problem with my web page. I don't think it is anything that me and Front Page 2002 can't work out. If you have any suggestions please E-Mail me.

Hi there and nice greetings from Germany.
I saw this really good site and thought to sign the guestbook. So keep up the good work - I already added the site to my personal favorites.
Listened to the station at a friends house. Trying to get it to work on my computer tonight but having problems. When I get it
figured out the heck with TV You guys are GREAT!
I haven't started listening to your radio, as I don't spend a whole lot of time on the internet which is where I would get it exclusively. I am friends with Douglas Clegg who resided in NH up until last year, and he gave me a copy of a tape that someone in Kerrville or Austin made for him of the oldies and standards from the 40s and before. I was tickled at how much of it I had heard when growing up in Phoenix back in the 50' and 60's listening to my Mother's wake up program provided by Len Ingebrittson (sp) on AM radio. I think she alternated between KOY and KOOL. Anyway, I'm sure there are at least a few who grew up in that time (I'll be 50 next April) who will recognize the name Len Ingebrittson.
Can't wait to hear what you have to offer!!!!!!!
Keep up the good work. I remember these shows from the 40s and 50s.
Nice site.
Cheers from Canada
This is the first time that I have listened to your station, and I like it. I listen from work on my computer.
Thanks.
Keep that OTR coming down the pike!
My favorite shows are Red Skelton, Mysterious traveler and Cape Cod Radio Mystery Theater. Age 13
I have a home office and OTR is a huge part of my day and evenings, too!. To show my appreciation, I mailed a donation and you should be getting it soon. Keep up the great work, Bill!
I like old time radio a lot, Keep up the good work.
I have just found your site, and you have taken me back to my childhood in the "Golden Days of Radio" in the late thirties and forties. I am 65 now. Keep up the good work.
I would like to hear Kay Kyser's Kollege of Musical Knowledge.
Hi, i like listening to your station, and it's real nice that you have a link for real player, I have added you to my favorites in real player, many stations you go to listen, to there audio they have the player within there page and not within real player, i like to add stations to my favorites. i have a link to your webpage on my links page, keep up the good work.
I want to thank you for the e-mail telling me about "365". I already had "365", so now I can listen to YesterdayUSA, without any problems. I sent in my subscription today. Thanks again.
Thank you for the old radio. Brings back memories of the childhood. Unable to pick up on AM or FM in this area. Thanks of the Internet broadcast. Listen when I can.

Nice site
I love to hear these old radio shows, a few of them still exist in Australia, run by folk with an interest in old time radio.
I "discovered" your radio station while in hospital. It
made my stay much more enjoyable. I was a room mate with a
newly blind and he was having a tough time adjusting your
station made his adjustment much easier. We stayed awake
most of the night enjoying your station. I had not heard him
laugh for days until I introduced him to your station.
Thanks a lot!!!

You have a great website! Lots of info, and it's great to be able to listen to old radio programs at 3:00 AM, if I so choose (I'm a night worker).
Great variety
Just heard your prayer for Number 13. PTL and keep up the good work, Bill! 73's -- AB4QQ
I love the old time radio broadcasts! You're doing a great job keeping them alive. Many thanks!
Hello Bill and Kim and all. I feel like I know you all, since I listen to you so much. I listen on my computer at irregular times, but usually hear all the tapes at least once. Jack Benny's a favorite. The Renfro Valley show, and the old-time country music show (I forget the name) are favorites, too. May God bless all of you for keeping this great stuff on the air.
Hey Bill,
Just recently discovered your station while surfing the web. I think it is wonderful, and should be mandatory for every nursing home. I used to take tapes of old-time radio to my Mom to listen to, on headphones. Even though her mind was supposed to be completely gone, she would recognize those shows and often laughed so loud she would have every one in there laughing, too. I wish you would sell tapes, then I could listen to them at home, I can only listen to you at work on this computer.
What a great site! Thanks for the info!
Love those old radio shows. In particular, love the comedies. Fibber McGee is my favorite, followed by Burns & Allen, then Jack Benny. Like them all, really. Thanks for the offerings.
Cheers from Nunavut
It was a real pleasure to be able to speak with James Arness on his birthday. I enjoy your show very much.
Am really anxious to get to the actual programs and hear all the old shows I remember from my youth. My husband is also.
Great Stuff!!!!!
First time here very good keep it up as they say in the u.k.
Hello
I'm a keen radio listener. I was born in 1938 so my childhood was influenced by Hollywood and into my teens by Americana.
However the access to American radio has only been possible for me over here in the UK by audio cassettes that have gradually come onto the shelves in the stores in the last 10 years or so.
Having found your radio station I am thrilled to be able to easily hear a wide range of broadcast material. Thank you.
God Bless America.
Regards,
Michael
Bill, you done been doin' a good job with YUSA, making it available to so many....FOR FREE! Kudos (not cooties) to you and your lovely Kimmylou. What more can I say other than "I humbly thank you for all your effort in keeping old time radio alive".
Best regards from Japan,
Jason Glavy
Excellent site.
Frank
I just LOVE your programs. I used to listen to various Musical Radio stations via the web while I work. Now, however, I tend to listen to your site instead. Yup, I work all day listening to your programs.
Even though I tend to hear a number of programs repeated throughout the week, quite often I miss part them the first time around due to meetings, phone calls, etc. On the other hand, in some cases I enjoy hearing programs over and over again, similar to a number of reruns I tend to watch over and over again.
When I was younger, Radio programs were no longer being made, however, I still managed to find a radio station that broadcast a couple of the old shows each night. It was unbelievable how much I enjoyed listening to the shows in the darkness of my bedroom. I could literally see images in my mind of each of show. Some 30 years later, I still enjoy these same shows.
When I was attending High School and Later, I used to have the TV on in the background instead of the music that my friends had playing. I managed to get a lot of work done this way. And the TV was not a big distracter for my studies.
Now that I have your web site, I feel like have the TV set on in the background as I work away at my coding / problem solving.
Thank you for these remarkable shows. I am hoping to make a contribution some time soon in the not-so-distant future. I realize that you aren't forcing me to pay you anything, which is all the more reason I would like to send you some money down the road.
Thank you again. And keep up the GREAT Work!!
hello my name is albert pacho from Laredo tx and i would like to say that you have the greatest oldies station in the world o.k. and if you can play a song for me it's call in the still of the night o.k.

Nicely done
First time to your site. Anxious to start listening to your programming. Any chance of you getting on DirecTV "music" channels?
I am James Arness's fan and friend, retired police officer and professional boxing referee Ron Lipton, whose letter to Jim was selected for his wonderful autobiography page 213, I believe. Looking forward to his interview with Bill and Walden. Best to all, your friend, Ron Lipton
It's great to find another source for OTR. We have collected OTR since the mid 1960's. Grew up in the 40's and early 50's listening to real radio, the greatest entertainment medium of all times. I even got my oldest daughter interested when she was a pre-teen.
I love this station on the net it bring so many memories of my youth, Tears to my eyes and a feeling of wanting to go back to the past. Wow that says how I feel
Iam big batman & superman & I like old radio iam 48yearold like lone ranger superman batman the shadows I like them all mardy
we have been looking for a long time for a station like this finally I found it. Thank you for making it available.
Couldn't be better. Dear Bill, I have been a broadcaster since the early 1960's like yourself, and remember many OTR programs from the 1950's. It's great to hear them again. I have a micropower AM station WOO on 1610 AM in Northeast Philadelphia. I worked for or with many stations, several networks, LPB, RCA, Collins, Radio Systems, Riggins Broadcast, Mullaney Engineering etc. I am also
experienced with microradio and carrier current systems. My friend and associate Dave McCrork has a station in Lansdale, PA - WNAR on 1250 AM. His website is www.wnar-am.com, and he is a broadcaster and member of SBE. I'm forwarding info about your network and website to him by e-mail. I suspect he may be in touch. Best wishes on you OTR efforts! Sincerely, Rich Franklin
i love otr thank you in christ love lary
I really enjoy "Yesterday" it is my favourite radio station in the world. Keep up the wonderful radio programs. I enjoy ALOT!!!!!
Many thanks.
I have not had the chance to listen for two years. I miss the serials, especially. I will be a semi-regular from now on.
I really enjoyed being your guest last week, representing the Jimmy Stewart Museum. You folks certainly have a great web site. Keep up the good work. Carson Greene, Jr.
I listen to you on c-band and via the internet. I would like to hear some "Let's Pretend" programs as I listened to this program every Saturday morning when I was a kid during the 40's.
I miss the old shows. I use to seat around the radio every Sunday night w/my family and listen to those oldies, but goodies.
I've enjoyed your shows. I 'm trying to figure out what it will take to be a re-broadcaster. I have a ham radio license N1QLB. Type of radio Watts of power for about 10 mile radius AM. I am volunteer Video operator for Charter Communications but I would rather see about doing it this way. Any fees with F.C.C.? What type of antenna, minimum, is required. Area reasonably hilly but I live high up. If you can set me rolling in the right direction, I
would appreciate it. John Ferus
Walden - your radio station is AWESOME!! The live guests you have coming up in the next few month are my favorites! Once again, it was super meeting you at Jeff and Kerri's wedding!

Hi, You must be a brand new oldies station to me! I am not able to hear your music because I don't have a computer yet of my own. when I get the right discs for it I will be able to hear this station. yours truly---- the Rockin Robin.
Have a great day! and keep on playing!
Thanks for your work, I injoy OTR.
I love your site, keep up the great work!
Glad to see you are still "Keepin On". I used to listen every day at work. The company went under and so did my
listening habits. Do still have the auction? What does it cost now to become a member? I am copying data about Nursing Home access to distribute here in Northern Illinois. Stan Freeberg has an hour program out of Chicago that keeps me somewhat satisfied. I miss the serials, doo wop and other features. I would like to be a member and listen often. Thanks for the memories.
I sit here listening and it takes me back to the days of sitting in my dads 51 Pontiac listening to the great shows or laying in bed at night trying to hide the headsets from my
crystal radio when I was supposed to be going to sleep. Great job. Keep up the good work, I will be listening.
love the programs..keep up the good work.
'JUST FOUND YOU ON YAHOO great!! very happy to have found your station thanks, don we are enjoying listening to your sight but we are trying to find some old time radio shows to download but can't find any can you help us I am 34 years old and just discovered your station. I love what I hear and I'll have to tell my father to seek you out on his computer. Thanks for being available. Keep up the great work! You are a Godsend. To all of you at Yesterday USA, Thank You for the Very Welcomed Entertainment you send each and everyday!!! I work for the very company that invented the internet many many years ago and sit here at my desk listening to all of you all day long!!! My Co-Workers also at times, stop and ask what I am listening to and are very interested in your
programming. I have always enjoyed listening to Radio Theater and was
surprised to find your station here On-Line. Again, Thank You for the Memories and from us at BBNT Solutions in Cambridge Mass, All the Best Wishes!!! I have always enjoyed listening to radio shows. I'm only 40, and didn't grow up in the era of radio, yet I enjoy the alternative to television. I listen to several different stations. First time to visit this site. I'm new to computers. Looking forward to listening to my old time favorites. I was borne before T.V. What a great idea! Love these old programs! Howdy from the world headquarters of Western Swing music - Cowboy Joe's Radio Ranch. YEE HAH! I like to hear the old radio programs that one can use their imagination, larger than a movie screen, and better than any surround sound system love what you're doing, brings back many happy memories. Keep up the great work. thank you... Your web site makes my day! I've been listening to YUSA for several years and during the time have seen my player upgrade. It started with just Real Audio now it has switched to Windows Media Player. There's no problem. I have both, but it does get confusing at times. Next month I become an official "senior citizen" as I celebrate my 65th birthday. It just seems like yesterday I was listening to these very same programs "live" Take care and God Bless, Rodney Im a big superman & batman & robin fan I would like to hear superman & batman & robin on old time radio mardy I turned on YUSA for the first time 9 hours ago, and this has been the best Sunday we have spent in a really long time. You are all awesome, and I just wanted you to know you have a couple of new fans. I have been trying to find an Internet station such as yours broadcasting old radio programs for over a year since "Yesteryear Radio" stopped broadcasting on the net. It would be helpful if your station was better linked to more search engines, Yahoo! Radio, RealAudio because searching over the net never revealed your station except when I saw a report on WFAA channel 8 in Dallas on the morning of February 24 which provided me enough information to finally track down your station. Keep up the great work and you will surely bring so much joy to me and my wife as we love to listen to the old radio programs and there are little resources for doing this until we finally found your broadcast. Please take care and thanks again. Regards, John First time visit. Heard about YUSA on recent TV news broadcast. Just found this website, so will try it out for awhile. Looks like a great place to listen to the old time radio broadcasts.. Great Site |
