HOW LONG have you been conducting the annual Auctions?  For over 15 years!

HOW & WHERE do you get the merchandise for the Auction?  All Listeners are requested to donate one or more item (s) each.  See suggestions below.

When will this year's Auction be held?    Sunday November 27th, 2011 ( Thanksgiving Weekend ); Starting at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.

Where will the Auction be held?   It is a "LIVE ON-AIR AUCTION".  Regular programming will be pre-empted until the Auction is concluded.

HOW do you place a bid?    In the "password protected" Chat Room or via the telephone (numbers will be announced during the Auction).  Passwords are given to all persons who have donated money to Yesterday USA.  If you have already made a contribution, but don't yet have a password, please contact us via the Contact Page.    To make a contribution NOW and receive a password; please follow THIS LINK.

WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT AN AUCTION ITEM?  As the donated items arrive, they will be assembled into "LOTS" and then listed and described on the OFFICIAL AUCTION PAGE.  (This link goes to last years list for information purposes only) Remember that Kim is sick, so please be patient!  There will also be a "Live ON-AIR Discussion" of each item at 7:30 PM Eastern Time on Sunday November 20th, 2011 (the Sunday night before the Auction).

WHERE & HOW DO YOU PAY FOR YOUR AUCTION PURCHASES?  Prior to the day of the Auction, let us know if you will be paying via CHECK or submit your Credit Card or Pay Pal Info to the address in the banner at the top of this page; via our E-mail address on the Contact Page or fax to 972-889-2329.  After the Auction, your purchases (plus actual postage after they are mailed) will be totaled, your Credit Card or Pay Pal account will be charged and your items will be mailed as soon as possible.  If you are paying via CHECK, your purchases will be mailed after postage is calculated and full payment is received.

WHAT SHOULD I BE DOING BETWEEN NOW AND THE DAY OF THE AUCTION?  Setup an automatic Monthly Contribution Account at THIS LINK. to help us cover the cost of our daily operations; and then send in your Auction items AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

AUCTION ITEM SUGGESTIONS

These are only suggestions, so be creative!  All items are welcomed!
NOTE: If the cost of postage is a problem; get a "Flat Rate Box" from the Post Office and load it up! 
If the items fits...it will ship for one low rate!

1.   Get a "thumb drive" and load it up with Old Time Radio Shows.  ( Hundreds of shows can be downloaded onto a single tiny drive! )
2.   Purchase a nationally known Department Store GIFT CARD or a GIFT CERTIFICATE.
3.   Audio CDs or DVD Movies.
4.   Hand Made Craft Items.
5.   Books, Antique Publications or Magazine Subscriptions.
6.   Purchase something from a mail order Catalog and have it drop shipped to our address.  Look for items that come with FREE SHIPPING!
7.   Antiques or Collectable Items.
8.   Reel to Reel Audio Tape, Audio Cassettes and Phonograph Records.  Remember, 78 RPM Records are heavy and very fragile.
9.   Wi-Fi Table Top Radios and Computer Accessories.
10.  Any Items Autographed by a Famous Person.
11.  Watches, Rings or Jewelry Items.
12.  Tools, Die Cast Toys or Model Trains.
13.  I-Pods, I-Pads or CD Players.
14.  Collectable Coins or Currency.
15.  Baseball Cards, Football Cards, Basketball Cards or Sports Memorabilia.

A special request from Kim - On audio items please help me by sending along a note with how many shows and the names of the shows that are contained in your submittal(s); ie Suspense 150, Escape 92, Jack Benny 75, etc. It takes a lot of time putting each disk in and counting the shows and titles. Also, if possible, any information for your items will be very much appreciated so I can just type your info on the listing instead of having to search it out on the web.
